How to get a Qatar Work Permit?
For Pakistani nationals seeking employment in Qatar, the sponsoring employer is responsible for obtaining a work permit and residence permit (commonly called Qatar ID). The Ministry of Labour (MOL) and the Ministry of Interior (MOI) handle the issuance and approvals.
The application process for a Qatar work permit is:
The employer submits a request for a work visa through the Ministry of Labour’s online system.
Required documents and details are uploaded for verification.
The Ministry reviews the application and may request corrections or additional documents.
Once approved, a Work Visa Approval is issued, which the employer sends to the candidate.
The employee applies for visa stamping at the Qatari Embassy in Pakistan.
After arrival in Qatar, the employer completes medical tests, fingerprints, and residence permit (QID) processing.
